Most councilors do not know their limits when it comes to work. They take themselves to be the final authority in the councils. This makes work of government officers difficult as some are forced to dance to their tunes regardless of regulations for fear of their calls for ousters.That is Why local government ministry should remain firm and slow down on the decentralisation drive to protect these officers. Decentralisation can not work with this crop of councilors, We need sober and reasoning Policy makers with appreciable Education qualifications.
