If we look at the place those that know the place exactly..it is not that flat where water can flood to that extent. There is a stream that is steep enough for water to ran faster….AND Those that are constructing the road they are supposed to dig enough to make the stream wider and direct the movement of water into the stream not into the car pack….madzi ngati akusefukila apapa nanga kuli ku chikhwawa bwa

The problem is not Planners or Enginers not even Artichetors. Our problem is we have failed to manage our land by preserving trees which could control the flow of water down stream.

ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS ARE FROM JAPAN.NO MALAWIAN ENGINEERS WERE INVOLVED.
BLANTYRE CITY PLANNERS,THRRE IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN IN MBAYANI/CHEMUSA WHERE HOUSES HAVE BEEN BUILT RIGHT IN THE STREAM OPPOSITE KABULA POLICE POST.

Malawi at 51 is failing to produce planners, engineers and architects who can come up with a very good road with good drainage system. Very sad indeed.
