I used to respect the man of God, Rev Nyondo. From the day he raped the constitution of the CCAP Livingstonia synod for the third term bid, my respect for him vanished. I am waiting to hear him condemn the tobacco growing quota system as it desctiminates against the people of the north. The Man of God needs also to condemn the quota system in the marking of exams where students from some regions are favoured by their kinsmen, the lecturers, who dominate institutions of higher learning. I still don’t understand that in today’s age we are still discriminating people on the basis of tribe, colour, religion, gender, beliefs. We are all human who came to earth the same way like everyone. As Malawians we all have the same rights and as humans we all have basic human rights. If we discriminate others on the basis of their tribe then we should also be comfortable with white people discriminating against black people. These noise makers should stop this nonsense. When their Khumbo Kachali was VP during PP rule, they never asked him to consider abolishing quota system. Now they come here bweka-bweka speaking against quota system. The system is here to stay.
