Mabedi,the fact that your bread and butter has always been made in RSA doesn’t necessarily mean that all Malawian players have to trek there. Gabeya’s failure to land a deal in the rainbow nation might be a blessing in disguise. I am one of those who don’t like to see Malawian players playing in South Africa or Mozambique. Having Malawian players get attached to or signed by clubs in European stepping stone leagues is a good thing for long-term development.
