ACB: Please NOT SO FAST with the conclusion. You could bring credence to your organization that you take matters like these seriously, by taking a few weeks or months: as an indication that you take your mandate VERY seriously. That would be a good start salvaging your reputation. You (ACB) have probably been ordered by the powers to be to “stop wasting your time investigating anything that may even apply slight break pressure on the political vehicle driving this project”. That is unacceptable, in the new open society environment. Is it perhaps true that some bribery money has already exchanged… Read more »

Khato Civil.. who are your PR consultants?

Bell Pottinger?

This is a very clever game..

Khato Civils is using the emotional language of pride, jealousy, anger.. patriotism.

They are stirring up our emotions.

The critics of this projects are talking in technical terms of feasibility and cost-benefit analysis.

Khato is very cleverly responding; not with facts but emotions.

Beware people with sharp tongues..

“.. ACB therefore to suggest that his involvement with Khato Civils puts the bureau in difficult situation is nothing but nonsensical. Mr (Lucas) Kondowe no longer works for the bureau and he is free to engage in economic activities with anyone.”“ Wow. To suggest there’s something untoward about revolving doors and corporate lobbying is ‘nonsensical’. That is beyond belief. South Africa with the Zuma/Gupta scandals, Saudi Arabia and USA with the lobbyists for weapons manufacturers. Donald Trump’s campaigns connection with Russians. Etc etc. To suggest there is nothing wrong or unethical about links between companies or people with deep pockets… Read more »

A Malawi ndi anthu omvetsa chitsoni koma. ACB has so many cases on its ranks and file of REAL CORRUPTION of some high-profile individuals that it is now deliberately dragging its feet for successful completion. By now these conmen masquerading as politicians would have been behind bars. Is this now NOT a personal vendetta against Komdowe? It’s a known fact that it is during his time at ACB that successful investigation of a certain conman illegally keeping stacks and stacks of money in his bedroom was exposed. And now some people at the very ACB are deliberately trying to botch… Read more »

This is good news. Malawians are backward people who criticise any development. If government tried to invest into a trillion dollar airport, they will oppose it. If they invested in electric trains, they will oppose it. They think they are too intelligent! Foolish and backward people, I am not Malawian but from Nyasaland…..KKKKK ..foolish!
