Malawi BBA Hotshots Sipe, Mr 265 in house
It has started! Big Brother HotShots the biggest reality show kicked off in South Africa on Sunday as the contestants were officially unveiled for Season 9 of the Big Brother Africa Hotshots edition in the hope of winning the ultimate US$300,000 prize wit the two Malawian housemates amongst those that entered the house.
Malawi’s contestants are DJ Malik who is known in the show as Mr 265 after the country’s international dialling code and hairdresser and singer Sipe who promised she “won’t have sex” in the house.
The launch show was exciting with as host IK Osakioduwa introduced each of the housemates. The housemates all displayed their talents from singing to dancing and more.
Malawi’s Mr 265, who recited a poem, polled 45.9 pc, while Sipe, dressed in black shorts, boots and a lovely top, bagged 59 percent after doing a Beyonce song.
Levada was chosen as the winner of the talent contest scorng high 85 percent and her reward is Head of House title! Therefore, she is immune from being evicted next week.
She was followed by actress and TV presenter Sabina (78 percent) from Kenya, while the third spot was snatched by Rwandan comedian Arthur, at 77.5 percent.
This is the first time that Rwanda is participating in the Big Brother show. There are 13 countries, with each country having two reps.
The show will run for 63 days and the winner will cart home a cool $300,000.

Why have Malawians in the big brother scored very low? Around 48% and another around 52%. Is it because they had inadequate time to reherse?
i only hope the male malawian partcipant will have to up his game if he is to survive in the house !!!
