I think the way forward is to invest in local production.we need to capacitate the local industries and reduce the level of imports from South Africa.otherwise we will remain as developers of other countries economies .increased local production will increase employment localy and malawi stands to benefit from ripple effects of increased purchasing power. it may take decades but yes it has to be done.

Malawians, investments should start with us. We are good at buying luxury things when we make money instead of buying tangible things that can help us make money. What we need is production. Lets produce more things that we can sell to our neighbouring countries. Buy investing in capital goods we create jobs for our people and there will be no need to go to Joburg. Let us stop spending our money on expensive cars. Instead lets buy tractors and machinery for production. Otherwise we will continue to depend on South Africa.

Please my fellow Malawians let the South Africans to do their trade in our country such as game, Pep and Shop light shops to show that we are matured people bez every body is a migrant wherever he or she is residing . All south Africans should ask themselves where they came from. If they are image of devil, then they were created there. But ,if they are the image of God please let them ask themselves twice
