These people, they are not serious. All they want is to protect their positions and their personal goals. How can they sit down in this so advanced century and plan for diesel as the best option for electricity. Is this solution sustainable???. Fuel is imported into ur country Thus money already. Okay, help me to get the logic here. We will use imported energy to generate another energy…..mmh. And the generators will run 24/7 all the way. How expensive they have purchased and how expensive will be their maintainance cost. This will not solve the problem but complicate the whole… Read more »

Indeed, you say the truth!

By April the rains will have stopped, so the level in the lake will start falling again, requiring continued load shedding and more severe than it is now. Furthermore, Escom continue to make new connections to an already overloaded system. By October, during the dry season, be prepared for far worse load shedding that we had last year
