MET dept is not helping Malawians either! Why didn’t it fore warn people of Karonga and Lilongwe only to surface this time around when everyone is aware that with more rains, the likelihood of floods are minimal? We need to be taught the un obvious/ the unforeseen. Don’t behave as our Chanco political scientists who always say the obvious. Do we really have the MET dept in the first place? Or they wait for other countries’ weather imageries?
Two weeks forecast of heavy rains is long, even if am not a meteorologist. This warning is subject to quick periodic review. Am hoping this will be taken care of..
