It is important to desist the urge for making personal attacks if at all one is to be taken seriously as a writer/political commentator. That one Hastings Kandoje is a renowned PP sympathizer/propagandist needs no emphasis,but one can make his point loud and clear without resorting to calling other people names. I agree with those who have totally condemned Nankhumwa’s statement. It is empty and meaningless. Is he including the K92billion plundered under the DPP regime of Bingu wa Mutharika?. What is in no doubt is that the plight of ordinary Malawians who are in a majority is going to worsen. The DPP regime and people who brought Malawi to its knees by April 2012 are back in govt except the dead Bingu wa Mutharika. There is really nothing new in this write-up; just a summary of events and opinions regarding “Cashgate” over the past while. I am not sure of Kandoje’s objective other than to chastise APM, DPP and those chasing the cashgaters. The article lacks depth, and serious analysis: it could have easily have been written by one of the students who just passed the latest MCE exams. The fact that JB started the investigations does not mean she and her party did not instigate, or possibly worsen the problem of pilferage. i think a lot people don’t really follow these things or are ignorant ndi a zungu omwe aku britain english ikuwavuta, they say JB ASKED Tilly Baker to audit govt from april 2012- to sept 2013 why should somebody work on 2005 when it wasn’t asked to do so?
