I agree with those who have totally condemned Nankhumwa’s statement. It is empty and meaningless. Is he including the K92billion plundered under the DPP regime of Bingu wa Mutharika?. What is in no doubt is that the plight of ordinary Malawians who are in a majority is going to worsen. The DPP regime and people who brought Malawi to its knees by April 2012 are back in govt except the dead Bingu wa Mutharika. There is really nothing new in this write-up; just a summary of events and opinions regarding “Cashgate” over the past while. I am not sure of Kandoje’s objective other than to chastise APM, DPP and those chasing the cashgaters. The article lacks depth, and serious analysis: it could have easily have been written by one of the students who just passed the latest MCE exams. The fact that JB started the investigations does not mean she and her party did not instigate, or possibly worsen the problem of pilferage.
