I would rather hear a president wannabe challenging himself to creating jobs because if he doesn’t we can take him to task. At present we have a hopeless and uninspiring situation that needs to stir up the citizenry. If a president can’t do anything for his people why is he on the throne? Those criticizing lack vision. When President John F. Kennedy announced in 1961 his ambitious plans of sending an American safely to the moon before the end of the decade, I am sure people with the same mentality as APM and most critics here felt that was mission impossible. Creating 1 million jobs in 1 year in Malawi is unrealistic. The USA, the world’s biggest economy create about 2 million jobs per year. Is it conceivable for Malawi, among the poorest countries, to create half the number of jobs that America creates.?
You know how many jobs USA creates /per year. Do you know how many DPP government has created in the past 4 years?

Malawians let’s stop hero-worshiping and believing that whatever our leaders are saying is gospel truth. Take time to critic what your leaders dangle infront of you. Creating 1 million jobs is not easy and more so in one year. It will require massive investments this poor country cannot afford. For instance let’s take kabaza as the cheapest investment for job creation, with a bicycle, additional fixtures and registration at about k80,000 it will take k80 billion to create 1 million kabaza jobs.
