I am not into these sentimental narratives. an abnormal out pour of negative emotions usually results into exaggerations of any situation.
However saturated with hatred for M C P some people may be, they will never succeed to demonise the good work which the M C P did.

Are we free when we cannot have basic needs that we need everyday. If you ask me, Kamuzu days were far better than the 25 years you are mentioning . Be honest, Malawians are not free yet.

Mwenefumbo, who took out freedom day? And where were you that time? Why didn’t you say that? Iweyo Nthawi ija munali ndi mbali ya bingu mumavomereza zimenezi. Bakili anchotsa maina onse a Kamuzu kuphatikizapo Kamuzu day. Bingu anabwezeretsa inuyu munali kuimbera mmanja, tsopano you have imposed kuti you are Aford president with confusion and conflict from pp then you say freedom day ibwerere. Achinyamata aku Mzuzu university anakuchititsa manyazi you don’t sit down and reflect for you to restart your journey.

What is being missed by people talking about dawn of democracy is that about 43 people were killed and many injured and imprisoned in April 1992 when Malawians protested one party rule following arrival of Chihana to challenge the Ngwazi
