Kasakula will never triumph in his campaign against DPP. He started it in Bingu’s time but never succeeded. When DPP was outside govt he thought MCP had the chance to bounce back into the corridors of the state house. He did everything to make sure MCP wins but to no avail. So the guy instead of accepting failure he is still struggling just to keep his work but he knows he cannot succeed. I think he is aware of what JZU has just said about Chakwera and his new MCP. There is no doubt that grand corruption (i.e. high level corruption) is widespread in Malawi. Each major government contract is awarded only after the awardee agrees to give kickbacks to DPP as a party and to well connected DPP officials. APM only acknowledges petty corruption like that which happens at Road Traffic offices. The major way to force APM to accept that his party is rotten to the core is for whistle blowers to bring as many details as possible about these corrupt transactions into the public domain.
