Here in Senga Bay we have a German guy, by the name of Ron Mueller, who has been in Malawi illegally for a long time. Salima Immigration Officers are giving money each time they’re told to enforce the law.
We cannot just target amwenye and our Nigerian brothers for deportation and letting these illegal mzungus to stay. They are no good for our country. You cannot stay in Germany illegally. (Full stop!)

But last week they came to our work place and we indeed had about 7 illegal people from both Indian and Pakistani origin. But our officers took a bribe and let them carry on with their illegal work. Each illegal person was tagged to MK50,000.00.
