I also agree that the state that Malawi is in, is because of Mr Muluzi himself. The politics of handouts has led to what we have today. Our Low and Middle education system is non existent because in his time anyone could wake up and become a teacher. Corruption took root during his era and he looked the other way because everyone in government was having one helluva of a party. I have no confidence in him not today

For Malawi to transform we need much more than the concepts and ideas articulated by Atupele. Malawi is in an intensive care and need a dialysis machine to cleanse it’s blood. That cannot be done by two tablets of panado.

Trouble with African leaders, including Muluzi himself, is that they think and believe should be adored even when there is glaring evidence they are behaving as idiots. Respect must be earned and not demanded.
Examples of leaders who do not deserve to be called bad names are Khama, Mkhapa, Chissano Mandela. They behaved during their tenures.

A Mtchona is someone who away from the country of birth for very many years. APM, and some of his henchmen, is a classic example.

Look who is talking? You set Malawi on this trajectory!

Muluzi didn’t fight hard to bring democracy. This man fought hard to bring theft and corruption we see today. He is the father of all this poverty. All the streets were littered with vendors. All roads had potholes. Most companies collapsed under Muluzi. Public schools are dead because of Muluzi. Muluzi practised politics of kutukwana. Anatukwana Malewezi about his illness. Amatikwana John Tembo every time and check YouTube. Muluzi deserves every bad adjective. Malawi is backward because of Muluzi. Sanalemekezi Kamuzu. At least Bingu respected Kamuzu. Muluzi almost destroyed the New State House. All bus companies collapsed under Muluzi. Now… Read more »
