CEO and trainer at Multitalented Firm, Macdonald Nyoni, said  www.skillsupdate.org is designed in a special way to help students get both theory and technical expertise in their fields of interest.

According to Nyoni, the teaching and learning process “is not all automation.”

He said after conducting a market survey in which it was revealed that most people in the country do not take classes seriously once they enroll online, they decided to come up with a strategy that will induce some sense of responsibility on the part of enrollers.

“Once a student enrolls, it means they commit themselves to work on the course until the end. As such, the tutor-student communication is prioritized,” said Nyoni.

Nyoni said they have partnered with a number of esteemed learning institutions and academics worldwide to make their programs competitive and of international standards.

“We’ve linked up with a number of professors and people doing well in various disciplines including leadership. For example, we’ve John Maxwell trainers that have partnered with us on the same project,” he said.

He encouraged academics and researchers in the country that are willing to share knowledge on the site for use on their website to work with them.
