The major reason is that many Malawians are blind and are used by diabolic criminals who are enriching themselves. ThThey are satanists and have strong positions in govt and parties.They are there to make sure Malawi remains poor. The moment you expose them you are dead.

A very good piece of analysis; sound recommendations. But is anyone listening. We are tired. Those few rich demagogues will never even read a quarter of this article. It intrudes into their rich affairs. The rest of us, drenched in poverty, just want to go back to British rule. The last fifty years away from British rule have been a disaster,a severe chronic pain in the testicles.

Is God dead ? Surely He is alive. Dont we have men of God who can ask God on behalf of the leaders (the president) so that we can find a way out of this mess ? But the President and other leaders shud consent.
We can also have monthly shows and debates in different Malawian colleges and universities on new innovations and economic solutions for our nation.

John, this is a good commentary and observation. Indeed Malawi is not poor but poor leadership and lack of vision for our beautiful nation. All governments have failed to lead Malawi out of poverty while our neighboring countries keep on prospering. Look at Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique they have gone a mile ahead with developments, this is just because their leaders think of their country as home and worth deserving development.
