Rural development is the development of all facets of the lives of the 87% of our people who live in the rural areas, so the government should be spending 87% of its infrastructure development budget on improving the lives of these people. I do not believe that MK155,000,000 is 87% of this budget. Rural people are neglected because they are disunited and lack a strong voice in Parliament to make their grievances heard.
