DPP was given a chance to prove that they are capable of listening to those that “appointed” them and are able to transform for the benefit of the people The government should be aware by now that the people of Malawi are their bosses so can not afford to treat your own employer with disdain. The people of Malawi, as employers and masters, have the capacity to hire and fire the government. The truth of the matter is that the 2014 election was “stolen”. All efforts to have a verification of ballot papers through recounting was rejected by DPP and as soon as the president was sworn in the MEC warehouse in Lilongwe was gutted by fire. This is the same technique the used at Capital Hill to destroy evidence in the Maizegate Scandal. So it is true that this government has no legitimacy.
