The statement from the Commander is complete, very concise and true. Have u realised the main reason why it is so? Malawi Government does not have ICT or it uses outsourcing in every endeavour, those who are working as ICT are all dull and useless.
The main problem is that ICT department is obsolete and OPC does not want to correct the situation until we are hearing such statements today. ICT is in the youth and NOT in aged people. You cant do without ICT evenif u have influences. Policies without implementation are useless.

Hahaha Malaw has IT gurus that have skills and tools for Cyber Security as this is just part of IT Security

Komatu tsono would you agree kuti vutoli talikulitsa kwambiri kwathuko kamba ka tsankho, kumalemba ntchito anthu oti they have nothing in their heads just for their affiliation to the ruling party or because they are from those ruling tribes.

Unless that is addressed, government of Malawi is yet to see the worst.

Cyber security is huge and as a country we need to develop talent along that area as security breaches are a reality due to the rise of internet usage in our day to day lives ,world wide there is a security gap in qualified personal in the cyber security domain , organisations still put the network defense on firewalls with incorporating the defense in depth strategies to thwart security breaches, human interaction is needed with the security analysts correlating data and investigating events due to alerts coming from deployed IDS and IPS.
