In as long as we have the same old politicians as legislators, we won’t see much progress with driving good governance. It is not in their interest to have a Malawi nation with functional and enforceable laws. Good governance is seen as an antidote to the dysfunctional genetic code of most parties including DPP.

while you are checking on government please check on your peers. There is a lot of dishonesty among lawyers collecting payment and never representing accused. Some chew client money. The new format of payment to clients should be through the law society trust account and a lawyer should be presenting the invoice to the law society where he would be paid his fees and the client paid his potion. this will make sure that money that is paid to clients reach them not the current arrangement where money is paid to the lawyer and the lawyer pays the client
