By the way are the houses which the two deputy Ministers are staying are they not supposed to be paid for? Even if they are theirs, they built from hard won money and they were built to either be rented out or for them to stay in there as tenants. Unless they pocketed money above their entitlement then the case stands otherwise they should not lose the privilege of getting allowances as if the houses belongs to the government. Useless ACB. Why didn’t you apply the same reasoning to the cashgaters so that they just pay back the money because the whole issue arose from maladministration at Treasury? These double standards are not helpful and I can challenge you that no sane donor will come back to our assistance anytime soon.

It is very sad that Suzi Banda has responded to this issue in this manner. This is interference that they usually accuse the government. If ACB had recommended to prosecute, would the Law Society have asked the ACB or DPP to act differently. I have a feeling that Suxi Banda has flailed to accept that Parliamentary service did not recommend to prosecute. It asked the Bureau to investigate.
