Dorothy Ngoma hould resign. This misfortune happened because of poor management from the top. In the first place how could management allow nurses to entre with there phones in the Labour Ward where they are busy and have to perform well in making sure that women on labour are assisted accordingly. Dorothy Ngoma, please just tender in your resignation letter. Otherwise we will match

That has nothing to do with Dorothy Ngoma. The nurse who took the selfie was the one who is at fault. She violated medical ethic and needs proper punishment.

Whether the picture was uploaded by the former boyfriend is irrelevant, we should be questioning this Nurse’s motive of taking the picture in the first place. Am sure the day she took the picture, she sent to some of her friends herself only that it didn’t go viral

This woman should be arrested for taking nude pictures. This is soft porn. I don’t know why you seem to treat her with kid groves. is it because she is a woman? If it was a man the story could have been different. I am sure this is not the only picture she has taken.

Any profession ones joins is a calling from God. This is similar to a pastor, prophets, evangelist. The situation now has changed because nurse tend to call themserves into a profession. Hence, the current chaos we are experiencing. There is total moral chaos not only nurses but all other professions like teachers for instance impregnating pupils, lawyers defrauding their clients, etc

The nurse needs to be put into police custody. It’s criminal. Could someone please provide free legal advice and sue the relevant parties for damages.
I also find it wrong for you media people who go around hospitals, particularly in maternity wings taking video shots of pregnant women or postnatal patients who are half dressed. That too is appalling. Nobody would want his wife, sister mother, etc to be photographed as such.

What do your ethics say?

My question is, are patients have the right to privacy? Am asking because in this country journalists and hospital personnel find it ok to photograph any patient without regard to his/her privacy

Patients have rights too. The woman on the bed can seek damages against the nurse and the employer. Her rights to privacy were violated. No one sought permission from her in order that she gets exposed that way. Female lawyers in the Malawi Law Society, where are you?
