The observation of Malawi Congress Party Member of Parliament for Nkhotakota South East, Mr. Elson Makowa Mwale, is correct. It is true that 32–gauge iron sheets are being supplied to beneficiaries. Then they alter the figures on the documents to indicate that they supplied 28–gauge iron sheets. Sometimes those that are running the program register beneficiaries without their knowledge. Once the materials are delivered, especially if it is the 28–gauge iron sheets, they are shared between the village headman/group village headman and those distributing the materials.
