Malawi netizens feast on ‘Nkhupepeska’ a reindition of Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’
A reindintion of song ‘sorry by Justin Bieber done in Tumbuka dialect in northern region, titled ‘Nkhupepeska’ has been produced, sparking social media interest in Malawi.
Many Malawians are sharing the song on Whatsapp messaging app and other mobile messaging app including Facbeook.
Nkhupepeska, means sorry in Tumbuka, and all the lyrics have been translated in the Tumbuka language sung similary to Bieber original song.
“Nkhwenera ine kupepeska, panyake vilipo ivo nkhananganga, nanga wuli nkhumanya chala ivo tatondanisya muchitengwa, nkhukutemwa na mu tima wose, nkhukhumba chala kuti tilekane,” sounds the Tumbuka version of ‘sorry’ hitting the chorus of “I’ll take every single piece of the blame if you want me to. But you know that there is no innocent one in this game for two I’ll go, I’ll go and then you go, you go out and spill the truth.Can we both say the words and forget this?”
The singer remains unidentified but many Malawians have gone ahead praising his talent.
