I AGREE THAT THE CIVIL SERVICE NEED TO BE REDUCED. JUST TEL US IN THE DEPARTMENTS, WE KNOW WHICH POSITIONS ARE NOT NEEDED ANYMORE.

GOVT SHUD ALSO WORK ON REDUCING IMPORTS. E.G. WE IMPORT A LOT OF WHEAT FROM ZIM AND YET WE CAN EASILY PRODUCE THIS CROP IN NTCHISI AT CHINTHEMBWE, NENO AND SOME OTHER PLACES.

ALSO THINK ABOUT COFFEE, ENCOURAGE THE TEA ESTATE IN MULANJE AND THYOLO TO TURN PART OF THEIR ESTATES INTI COFFEE ESTATES. WE CAN BENEFIT A LOT.

Kkk that is the reality on the ground!why does the opposition want the budget increased!if its their role to oppose then we have dunderheads as opposition. Where is gvt going to get the extra that u want?

Hahahaaaa i wonder if opposition guys are really serious about ruling this country again……a budget is just a projection of expenditure so whats the problem if the figures have been revised downwards? Were you told that the amount reduced was meant for buying maize? our opposition is full of dull dudes. Dont just oppose everything please.

ife tidamva kuti maDonors ananena kuti should cut our budget. What do you want to tell us you people. Kutsutsa just for the sake yotsutsa or with reasonable capacity. Countrymen Malawi tremendasly developed with less educated people. These so called educated people are failing the country. Kamuzu developed this country with not hoghly educated people. Apa zikuonatseratu kuti kuMalawi education is not benefiting us nut only way of reaping yhe country. Understanding og thr do called educated is questionable as well.
