Note, it should be “floor” and not “ceiling”. “ceiling” means maximum qualification but here in the article you are mean the minimum qualification – which should be “floor” or just write in simple English – “minimum qualification”. Otherwise, good article!!

Hon Minister, I chose to disagree with the example you have given, about some MPs having no qualifications such as a degree, as people who are competent, really? We have some MPs and we know them, having not even a JCE paper, since 2014 no single word has ever come out of their mouths while in the August house. They make no contributions, no counter arguments, we just see them dosing/sleeping, all they do is attend sessions collect allowances and go home, is this being COMPETENT Hon?
