This is one of the best results of the century together with 2007 results. There is too much leakage of examinantions. Its this same exam Body that dismissed the story about Exam leakage this year, and they vehemently dismissed the rumours even when the exam papers were seen on social media (real questions). Now they are comfirming to be true that exams were leaked……I dont trust this body at all. This MANEB thing is contributing to the downfall of education in Malawi because their exams are not proffessional at all.

Makhonzedwe aanthu ndi mmene tilili zizigwirizana, osati chinyenga aphunzitsi ayi. Every year excellent results, but anthu ake failure when it comes to delivery. Anthu akale zinkakhonza chonchi and zinali zolimbikira. Because of razziness sowed in many schools through their exam coaching tactics we are really failures and blame throwers to politicians. Stop pointing fingers at one another, but rather stay focussed and see what is the problem to work on that for better everything in this country God gave us.

Ikagwa zoliralira kuchuluka. To me this is the best results osati ma 6 mpaka 20. The problem with current current education is that the students are only coached the real exam scenario, not prepared for the after class survival skills. No wonder when selected to go to the university what they obtain at msce never show up. Just imagine ndi ku university komwe kwayambikanso ma part time, whats that? Modindi tsogolo lkanjieducation yathu ikufetsa? Ena ndiye ma aassignment akumalembetsa kwa abale awo nkumapatsana pa whattsup. Vuto is the way we perceive the exams. Timangofuna timenye boo zafuture we don’t care.… Read more »

The last paragraphs are demeaning to teachers! I am not one of them but a product of the same teachers.
We have also to think about our sons and daughters who sat for the exams. They are partly to blame because their focuss is 40% on sex. What do they value in life? They are pre-occupied with cell phones and zibwenzi etc. The concentration on real things that may help them shape a better future are slowly diminishing.

We expect our kids to perform well when the teachers are lowly paid and not even getting that peanut salary in time.
Our preorities as a country are indeed upside down…..education is a basic necessity of any society and yet we are neglecting it..shame!!!
What we know best is using our kids/youths to paint themselves party colors with paint and we are happy

Were the teachers better paid in the previous years when results were good?

Komanso how do u expect a teacher with 30 points kukaphunzitsa mwana wa school kuti akhonze 6 points? In addition, look at some of the Domasi Diploma teachers, aaaaa ndisaname most of them leave alot to be desired, kuti awa angaphunzitse ku Secondary awa, primary school teacher koma mukumupasa form 3/4 why?

Not correct reasoning. It is the same teachers who have been producing impressive results in the previous years. Things can’t just change so suddenly. Maneb’s grading of students simply lacks consistency.
