Malawi Presidential Cup Round of 16 draw Thursday

Football Association of Malawi (Fam) will hold the national draw of the last 16 for the Presidential Cup on Thursday morning, May 12 at 10:30 am at the Mpira Village at  Chiwembe.

The 16 teams are those that have and will qualify from their respective regions.

The South will have seven teams, the Centre five and North four.

However, Silver Strikers still have to play in a third round play-off as per draw. They date the winners next week between Blue Eagles and Dwangwa Town Hammers, who play on Thursday.

This third round play -off next week will determine the 5th team from Central Region for the round of 16, to be played next week.

Other games to be played Thursday May 12 are:

Max Bullets vs Hard Knockers at Kalulu
Mchengabutuwa vs Manyamula at Mzuzu from 12 noon
Kabwafu vs Ipota at Mzuzu from 14:30
