Malawi Queens in C’wealth games ‘fair’ group
Malawi netball team have been handed a fairer Glasgow Commonwealth Games group to run from July 23-August 3.
Malawi Queens are in Pool A alongside Jamaica, New Zealand, St Luke, Northern Ireland and hosts Scotland.
The Queens bitter rivals South Africa have been paired in Pool B which comprises Australia, England, Wales, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados.
Malawi ranked fifth in the world will not have to negotiate a close contest with Jamaica while it will still be a tall order to overcome New Zealand.

According to the draw Malawi will start the campaign with Northern Ireland before facing number one ranked team New Zealand on July 25.
They will face St Lucia the second lowest ranked team in the competition on 12 in July 26, Jamaica on July 28 and will conclude group matches against hosts Scotland on July 29.
The netball competition will start from July 24 in the games.
Netball Association of Malawi of Malawi Rose Chinunda said the team would leave stone unturned to do better in the competition.
