DPP strategists are failing miserably in finding the right angle from which they can say something tangible about Chaponda saga. DPP can greatly benefit or get hurt depending on the angling they take. For instance, if the party distances itself from Chaponda, which they have not yet done, they can greatly come out clean on this one. Again, if they use him as a trophy to say that their fight against corruption is all encompassing and that it does not shield or discriminate against anyone, they easily win votes for themselves.
