Malawi woman in British army found dead at her home

A post-mortem and investigations are being carried after  a British female soldier of Malawian origin  died in her home in Brookwood.

Sphiwe: Mystery as Malawi woman in British army is found dead

The woman identified as Sphiwe Mahlango was discovered dead in her bedroom by 16 year old son.

The son was surprised that his mother was not waking up for two days and decided to enter the bedroom only to found her dead.

A close family source said, the woman was staying with her son and had an injury on her ankle.

“First of all, my thoughts are with the family of this young woman, who had her whole life in front of her. This truly is heartbreaking,” said a close family source.

Military officials say the full circumstances of the soldier’s death are under investigation and “it would be inappropriate to comment any further at this time.”

It doesn’t seem or sound like Malawi origin. SPHIWE MAHLANGO, sounds more like South Africa origin. Anyway may your soul rest in peace soldier.
