We do not have enough power to meet the current demand, now you are talking about electrifying every trading center???? Mbuzi zeni-zeni. How about buying drugs for all health centers????

Expanding on an already insufficient power? If currently we experience blackouts every day of close to 12hrs ndiye mukaonjezera 80+ trading centers tidzikhala mma blackout atali bwanji. Its better to invest these monies in a new power plant, probably coal generation, and add 300+ Megawatts to the grid before connecting these trading centres. Electricity is essential but look at our generation and demand required after adding these centres. Tell those involved in planning to consider coal power plant and other genaration sources before adding another load. Much electrification programmes with construction of new power plants. Our generation capacity is far too low and by connecting to many households without building new generation plants we are absolutely not being progressive,

Say anything, you can even build airports in each district. Easy said than done. You talk of electrification then you say we have only 352 MW which is not enough. Why tell us something you cant do. Stupid politics, just want to be seen doing something.
