TEVET levy, Fuel levy, Construction levy, Tourism levy, Football levy etc etc tell me what good have these levies done to us Malawians in return? It is only those who are employed in these levy institutions who are really getting super rich through allowances, misprocurements and shoddy salaries. Stop it please. Find another way of financing University and not levies. we are already over-taxed and over-levied.
No to this levy! Where does APM get some of these damn ideas, anyway; or who is his adviser on this? Many students are withdrawing from CHANCO because they can’t afford even the tuition. And as for many of the ones that are left: thanks only to their parents/guardians some of whom have borrowed the money from (katapila) loan sharks. Meanwhile, grants are allegedly being given to kids from well to do families! Incredible! I don’t know this levy will be on what? We sre already heavily burdened with levies. Milking the already thin cow. Mxxx!

Don’t be lazy
The lady who is being awarded a degree in the picture was not awarded an honorary rather she earned this degree after toiling for a few years that is when she got her PhD from COM. PLEASE CHONDE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN HONORARY DEGREE AND ONE THAT IS EARNED ON MERIT. The recipient of an honorary doctorate is not supposed to be called Dr So So everywhere no.
