Thanks to the Almighty, the strike is over. We are thankful that the Almighty has heard our prayers. All parties to the strike have won. But, more important, Malawi has won. All parties should shake hands and congratulate each other. You have got a big task on your shoulders, namely to provide a quality education to the future leaders of this country. Harsh words may have bee said in the heat of the battle, but that is all history, now. Now that you have buried your differences, you can walk with your heads, held high. You are all true leaders.… Read more »
These lecturers are stupid. Very stupid. These are workers who get more than MK 800000 per month. The work they do does not even match with that package. Some don’t even mark the assignments. Yet the need more money. Kuli anthu ophunzira bwino than these workers. Inu a NCHE talolewelanpo
it is time that these mzuzu lecturers and staff are exposed. Their school was paid for by tax payers money, many of them did not even pay a tambala for their education. Now, the tax payers are paying their massive huge salaries, even though, they are not working. is this fair, when there are millions of Malawians struggling to put food on the table? it is only fair and just that they should also refuse to receive their salaries. it is stealing to receive money that you have not earned. I say to hell with these selfish lectures and administration… Read more »
You foolish staff. Cant you see that the govt has no money? Afterall your salaries are already stinking high by malawi standards. A lecturer gets over a deputy director ( P4) in the civil service. Ndiye mukuti chani? Musatinyanse, kagwereni uko!!
Then you talk of higher education while schools are closed. What is the response of the state president? You are the overall head of every government department but you are quiet on every problem
How can we let a few, highly and obscenely, paid teaching and administrative staff jeopardise the future of 5,000 students??? Selfishness has to have boundaries.
MZUNI students go to Court and force these lecturers to go to work. You too, have rights.
Parents, and concerned citizens, join the fight. Get these lecturers and Administration staff to see some sense. After all, it is your taxes that pays for their obscene salaries and benefits.
STUDENTS, WAKE UP, YOU CAN FOLLOW YOUR LECTURERS WHEREVER THER ARE AND ROUGH THEM UP!!
