I honestly think having people with non-handclapping views is always good for making checks and balances. What if everyone had similar views, handclapping all the time? This handclapping mentality for an appointment which is supposed to be “doing-their-job” is what has dragged this country backwards. Some of the people currently in power are there not on merit but because the country is full of people who clap hands blindly. The opportunity of show casing Malawi”s hidden successes in the food security and nutrition spaces should could very well ignite more support to Malawi Saulos has the tenacity to connect with both the private sector as well as the international community.
