Even without media highlighting the cracks between these two, the writing is on the wall for everybody to see. Chilima is aware of this. The moment he challenged the president that “njoka saweta” it became obvious drawing of battle lines between him and the president & co. Njoka zonse are the president’s most trusted zealots. What do you expect from APM? Take a closer look at Chilima’s championed reforms, only a few have found favour to the DPP inner circle (midnight six) . VP remains outside this inner circle until he leaves the DPP soon or later. Don’t get surprised… Read more »

Malawi VP presidential syndrome. All it started with Bakili Muluzu. Even woman leader who faced VP discrimination herself did the same to her VP. This practise must be Malawi disease. It does not happen in other African countries. There is another disease MPs move from one party to another party when they feel there is nothing they can gain there or when they are bought. Muluzu family are the greediest family in Malawi. Atupele has killed UDF party which brought democracy in the country. Soldier on Saulos. This is part of the game. Who said politics is easy? Be calculative as always and Gods time is best time. Support and advise current President accordingly with your talents and your time to be first citizen will come. You are still young with plenty of future in politics. “Dekha kuti uone maso a nkhono” so they say. i like to be optimistic.

Folks,

Mine is just a question; when you issue and publicize such intimidating stories about our Vice President, what is the aim behind? Is it harassment? Is it intimidation? Is it to force him to resign? Is it out of jealousy?

We Malawians who voted for APM know that the relationship between our President and his Vice President is cordial. We see them together in many Govt functions since we elected them. If there are problems between them they will speak themselves. They are grown ups. Please lets leave them for once!!!!!!!!!

You are burying your head in the sand dude. There is nothing intimidating or harassing about these assertions. We have been through this path already since 1994 just as articulated in the article – the VPs in Malawi are endangered species. My advice to Saulosi, stay calm, keep your head up because all those oldsters have nothing new to offer.
