It never stops to puzzle me when it comes to Malawian women living in UK. The majority of them cling to their abusers. They are commonly abused sexually, physically , financially . They suffer in silence and vow to protect their abusers. The majority have children and these women think it’s ok being abused and exposing their children to that. Please Malawian women living abroad, do not tolerate the abuse. Tell your people at home. Wise up.

Try and find the other side of the story after all you all are not that different from south africans hate on foreigners well let’s kill them all, the man in police custody is a British Angolan, please I am not stating that the terrible attitude of Antonio is to be forgotten but let’s assume you knew both sides of the story.

People! People! People! Firstly my best wishes for speedy recovery to the lady. I see some of you querying the age difference between the two. Nothing strange here and it is just perfectly fitting for these ages into marriage.A 25 year old woman is fairly mature for a fully steady man who can settle well in a marriage. This lady did not make any mistake based on the age but perhaps where the man comes from. They say thako siliona kuchuluka kwa zaka za munthu. Many women are not bothered by age;they say it’s just a number. They look for… Read more »

Ultimately domestic violence has got nothing to do with culture, nationality or gender, but on individuals background. There have been similar reported incidents all across the global let alone Malawi, however the emphasis should be encouraging the victims to condemn it at all cost. This isn’t time to put up with any form of abuse whether it be physical, sexual or emotional. The minute you sense abusive elements, walk away. My motor is “Teach people how to treat you”. Remember love doesn’t inflict pain.

I feel sorry for this poor lady but at the same time it’s warning to all malawi women leaving abroad. Most of these men from west
and south west Africa used to be rebel fighters and killed so many innocent people in 1980s and 90s,now after claiming asylum in Europe doesn’t mean that they have changed these people don’t have a human heart.Almost every malawian used to listen nkhani zauku ndi
uku on MBC by Geoffrey Msampha, samalani azimayi muliyendamo.Malawian men are decent.
