We need people like #4 who can provide information to others who may need it. Malawian youth are generally lazy and our systems do not encourage the spirit of competition. Wake up Malawi youth there are opportunities out there if you work hard.

The Chinese and Americans are offering better scholarships to many Malawian scholars per year in the region of 20-50. The British, despite the deafening noise which is in their genes, only offer a maximum of two scholarships under the Chevening Programme. Malawians, open your eyes and extend your horizon to prestigious Chinese and American Universities.

In my opinion, we, Malawians are not aggressive enough to fight on until we get a thing. There are very few aggressive Malawians. Those are the ones who exhale. The mind like no.1. People should not simply give up. Try your luck. I was in Nairobi some few years. I was always impressed at the queuing culture… Especially how Kenyans queue at Embassies to get visas/ scholarships to study abroad. The community/friends raise funds to help individuals travel thru Harambee! Our colleagues are go getters. They are ambitious. They are fighters. They run around the globe. The competition is indeed tough. Dont bother to apply if you are weak in your grades. It will be a waste of time
