The economy of Zambia is much better than that of Mw. There is demographic entrapment in Malawi. The populations are almost the same but in land size Zambia is more than 3 times. You can find Malawians in Zambian farms and none in Mw farms. Zambians speak much better English than Malawians. Generally Zambians are cleaver than sleeping Malawians
Chewa people (with all the many splinter groups) originally come from Central Zaire/Congo, Ngoni’s from South Africa, Yao and Lhomwes from Mozambiques and so are the Senas. There are Chewas in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and probably parts of Tanzania. We are indeed one big family stretching 4-5 countries. These borders were created by greedy colonialists as capitalism demanded that the countries be split. we can’t be trapped in colonial mindset centuries later. we need to free our colonial minds to resolve these petty border issues

It is very sad to hear about border clashes in Africa. The people of these regions have been living in peace long after these international boundaries were imposed on the African continent. Why clash now?
Please my fellow African brotherss and sisters, let us respect those boundaries, even if they were forced down our throats.
After all, peaceful existance is a catalyst for development.

Matthew effect at work here, even the little you have will be taken away and given to the one with many. Imagine the Zambian/Tanzanian landmasses and you wonder what they want with a few more square kilometers from Malawi.
