Malawi’s Camilla at Miss Humanity International

Malawi’s girl Camilla Jussab The winner will represent the country at the Miss Humanity International pageant schedule for Barbados Islands in October.

The pageant is an international competition held under the auspices of the United Nations. It focuses on assisting the underprivileged.

The 20-year-old Lilongwe resident said she was delighted to be Malawi’s flag carrier at the pageant and says if she wins the competition she will use the platform together with other youth from Malawi to help solve some problems the country faces such as the academic freedom, freedom to demonstrate, child labour, youth education, HIV and Aids.

She also said she would promote the culture of dialogue.

“I am happy to be the envoy of Malawi at this Miss Humanity International beauty pageant,” she told Nyasa Times.

“Malawians should like my Facebook page and like the profile picture of my Miss Humanity page to add more votes for Malawi,” she appealed.

The Witwatersrand College of commerce student says by contesting in the pageant, she will have a chance to get to know and learn a lot from other youth participants from around the world and share it with her fellow youth from Malawi.

Camilla is appealing for support on her participation saying sponsor can contact her management team on 00 265 995501444.

She will face competition from other 23 contestant from other parts of the world.

Miss Humanity International is an innovative pageant with headquarters in Bridgetown, Barbados. Its sole objective is to promote and raise awareness about humanitarian causes worldwide.

The pageant will have contestant between the ages 18-27 that have a strong passion for community & humanitarian service.

The contest also serves as a platform to educate and promote tourism and cultural exchange among the participating beauty queens.
