The issue here is not about formation of UTM but rather that Ngongoliwa initiated the idea for leadership change for wise guy chilima within the DPP camp but after seeing that DPP &Peter were arrogant, and did not welcomed the Idea hence the formation of UTM so don’t confuse people here indeed mulli and ngongoliwa played a role on this one they thought that truth will be hidden forever and if indeed he had a meeting with Kaliati and masangwi then what was the agenda for the meeting because the Kaliati and Masangwi have spilled the bean so it will… Read more »

Iwe Saulos Chilima, stop for once this nonsense of “one day I will reveal”! Why do you enjoy keeping Malawians in suspense? It is a stupid strategy. Tell the people or shut up

Let us suppose for arguments sake ibdeed Ngongoliwa did as is being purported. Are we told what they said or thought after being told to what they were told. Were they not mature enough to have independent views or engage the chief in an argument about the proposal? If Mutharika waa in the chief’s views an embarrassment to the Lomwes why did he not propose another Lomwe as replacement to Mutharika but instead opted for a ngoni? So many questions can be asked but at the end of the day this story doesnt add up.

Many, if not most, in the crowd were too young to vote: they were there only to pass time, nothing else. Even if the grounds of Migowi (former Kaduya) Primary School were full, the crowd is not respectable for, supposedly, a surging Party. UTM cannot win Phalombe Center, or anywhere nearby. Nothing to do with tribalism; only that people see Chilima for what he is. Disingenuous, naive and unrealistic. And his leutenants, like Masangwi, (habitual) liars. You should have said the boos! Question: Why would Chilima not even ask, even better meet in person with, the Chief to verify if… Read more »

Oh my goodness…. i guess opinion are like buttholes, everybody has got one. We all have to concort alternative realities to make ourselves feel better. I was there in person, the place was full of people of voting age, secondly didnt Mulli host a parallel event with alcohol and a live band close by… my friend that’s where anyone seeking entertainment would have gone to… but people chose to go hear UTM speak. Mulli and Ngongoliwa gave birth to something they are failed to control. The genie is out of the bottle. To take us Lhomwes as tools of their… Read more »

To profess “I am proudly Lhomwe, proudly Mulhakho …”, is really missing the points @Mwananyanian’s is making. And the points are right there, above your comment.
And to invoke God’s will is not advisable in these discussions, and is usually a sign that one has run out of ideas. Otherwise then why campaign?

Mwananyani…me totally agree with you. Chilima appears to have run out of what to say to the people going by his statement in Migowi yesterday. I think he is fast learning that politics is serious business.

That lie is now the truth as it is being embellished over and over so the Ngongoliwa brickfence is crumbling. His bizarre mode of headdress marks him as his denials. Little school is cropping Ngongoliwa a lot of trash dancing with Masangwi the Chasowa murder suspect the odour is all around him. Pattie Kaliati is a graduate of Vwaza Marshes sales she is among the richest disgruntled politicians in Malawi. They are the financial hub of the UTM their political courage is not financial bravado it is real Ngongoliwa pray for the success of the UTM or the royal gown… Read more »

Yes, Mutharika is a good leader…………but surrounded by crooked people. the closest person that surrounded Mutharika was Chilima. Masangwi himself also surrounded Mutharika. Are these the crookes that Masangwi was talking about?
Malawians, do not make any mistake, vote for this good leader – Mutharika. Masangwi has warned you, so avoid crookes like Chilima and Masangwi himself.

As things are at the moment this country liri ngati lamasiye. We need to change the driver next year. Zimadabwitsa kuti ku maiko azungu each town is vibrant koma kuno most towns or districts lack meaningful economic activities that’s why there is so much poverty. Although people can try some economic activities paokha, boma should be in the fore front creating the environment and setting industries in place
