No relationship. This one is from Dowa. Dr. Laz is from Lilongwe. If there is any it must be very remote. To the best of my knowledge of the two gentlemen. Elias is not very well known by Malawians. But he is a former secondary teacher who went to teach at Domasi. A gentleman too. I first knew him when he taught at Mitundu Secondary school in the mid-1990s.
