At the Malawi Mission offices in New York, you welcomed all Malawians with dignity and humility, regardless of status, affiliation or power. We all felt welcomed and at home in your presence. You were a father for all Malawian delegates and visitors in New York! You shall be missed! May the Almighty God shelter your soul forever.

When you were running the sports complex at chanco we never ran out of beer and during isolated evenings you could throw us one or two greens on your bill. you never weeded astudent from the law faculty and u were full of humour as a senior lecturer no wonder when you rose the ranks to deputy chief Secretary chanco alumnus used to flock to your office to ask for favours and advice regardless of which faculty they enrolled in…..fare thee well Mhura…..u will forever be remembered till we meet again in the afterlife…..hamba kahle necton…..hamba kahle biyeni…..two great sons… Read more »
