I agree with Honourable Kasaila that CSOs should indeed invest in the youth instead of using them for demonstrations and rioting. In fact CSOs should focus youth voter and civic education especially for the uneducated and rural youth, so that they can vote wisely, with their eyes wide open. We all know that demos won’t work especially with an arrogant DPP (which I believe has no functional ears). However, I totally disagree with Dausi sentiments that DPP had brought development to Malawi. Anyone can spend MK1,2 trillion. However, it takes a genius to spend each and every Kwacha (it gets… Read more »

Look who is talking?. How about investing in the youth other than using them in party sponsored violence and painting them during political rallies. Kodi munakhala ngati mukulankhula ndi ana akhanda bwanji. Pathetic

Kasaila needs to be reminded that there’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING this DPP government can equally show for as a youth empowerment product/ output since it came into power 4 years ago.
Of course there are claims of community colleges, BUT can anyone please send on this forum a list of students graduated from such institutions? Are they employable materials? Any former student involved in any meaningful entrepreneurship?
Of course the ONLY VISIBLE DPP empowered youths product in Malawi are DPP CADET THIUGS TERRORISING us.
SHAME on MBAVA THUGS!!!

Very useless Ministers. Why are you call PAC and CSOs to condemn a clip. Have you ever condemned your barking dogs -MBC and MACRA? Which is better using youth in peaceful demonstrations and using them for political violence? Stupid Kasaila, we known you organized youths to cause a lot of trouble during by-elections in the Lower Shire. The same DPP youth caused death in Rumphi at Paramount Chikulamayembe don’t forget. And you want CSOs to empower the youth while you are busy stealing government funds which would have been used for youth development. Don’t think you are clever people are… Read more »

Minister Kasaila should know that it is not the CSOs who are to blame. It is the youth themselves because they know that if they participate in the demos nothing fruitful will be achieved at the end. The youths know pretty well that at the end of the demos no minister will resign and the President will not succumb to their demand. The youths know that they are being used for political gains. These youths belong to parties so if their parties are calling them for demos why shouldn’t they go? It is the results of the action which matters… Read more »
