The last paragraph is funny. Nkhoma Synod knows that its 100 year lease of the Nkhoma mission headquarters is at an end. The villagers around Nkhoma want their land back. That is why they are engaging the ministry of lands to help them hold on to the land.

Also take note that these people from the four districts are very well endowed in running small scale business and hence have enough economic prowess to buy land. The problem with land bill is opposition and some CSO wants to use it as a decampagning forum by mobilizing traditional leaders and common citizens. Why is the Minister on sensitization tour of the bill? Never seen a ‘good’ bill being paraded like that. There are bad motives behind the well framed ‘innocent’ bill. And tge name once again, Muluzi? Quite a familiar thief.

Why this land bill is attracting so much attention? It shows something is wrong some where.I wish all bills attracted such attention before being passed. A lot of money has been wasted on this bill only and a lot of money could be saved if our legislators could consult before going to parliament.
