This is the fifth election since the country returned to plural politics in 1994. One would wonder why it is important for the Open Society Foundations to be concerned about the integrity of elections in Malawi given its minimal geo-political significance compared to countries such as Nigeria, DRC, South Africa, Egypt, etc.

Malawians have no problems to slap you with votes you need. But you previous statement did not come right with me where you said and I quote sometimes people Just fall for you because you are coming from a well off family. and you picked chitawira as an instance of big businesses your father owns. I personally voted for marely because you arr a Malawian youth and NOT because you are from rich family.
