Please, the government of Malawi should just put on paper asking Mozambique for us to use their water. If Mozambique responds in writing that they don’t want that then we should stop and forget about that. That means from now on wards we should not allow these Portuguese to use our land or soil or water or air. After all how did mozambique obtain person to dig our soil through their railways. If mozambique used direct approach for railway development, Goodall should also use direct approach for waterways.Any negative letter to this, that letter should be preserved for future use in… Read more »

Please Government don’t cheat the ordinary villagers that Mozambique is blocking your dreams. This will only increase the hatred between ordinary people from Mozambique and malawi as to say the truth that project is not viable . The water levels will not hold vessels as you claim. Think like business people please

Why are lying to Malawians? Which SADC feasibility study? The only prefeasibility study to be completed put the project cost at US$6.4billion and that was in 2011. You were told to set up joint commission with Mozambique because 90% of the waterway is in Mozambique.

With no port at Zambezi river mouth ir means relying on Beira port which meant it is cheaper to use Nsanje-Beira railway line.

The truth is that the Nsanje Slab was just used to steal and launder money. It will NEVER see the light of the day.

I CALL UPON NEWS REPORTERS AND MEDIA HOUSES TO FOLLOW UP SO THAT ANY DIRTY TRICKS TO DIVERT FUNDS IS EXPOSED AND HALTED.WE URGE PARLIAMENTARIANS TO DO THE NEEDFUL SO THAT NO SINGLE TAMBALA IS STOLEN FOR CAMPAIGN FOR 2019 ELECTIONS BECOZ THESE ARE SOME SIGNS OF MOVES OF NOT BEING TRANSPARENT WITH THE TAXPAYERS MONEY.Revelations that someone in DPP led gvt said Nsanje Irrigation Scheme will be completed… Read more »

Since Mozambique is behaving as if it doesn’t need ather countries. I propose that it’s a high time Malawi has to review the agreement that is there which allows the passing of railway through Malawi. Tit for tat. If they continue to stand in our developmental way let’s stand in there way as well.
