They should be transferred to where? Not to my district! Let’s stop this habit of promoting incompetence and corruption by transferring perpetrators. If you can prove that they are corrupt the only place is to transfer them to Maula Prison

Let the office of the Auditor General zero in on such complaints promptly and act decisively.
The one reason we have always been failing on terms of accountability in government institutions is because we dont audit them promptly leaving room for interference with evidence. Why should we be looking at audit reports of MDAs for the year 2015 and before when we are in 2018????

Honourable Lunguzi, I suggest that you take an unconventional action by reporting the mismanagement of funds to the relevant law enforcement agencies. Hold on, given that the entire law enforcement has collapsed, I would advise that you approach any private investigative firm to take the case on a pro bono basis. Corruption in Malawi has reached unprecedented levels and therefore cannot be solved by conventional legal process, as these have also failed dismally. Sad, Sad and more Sad, why do we believe in transferring culprits or suspected culprits instead of engaging audits to find the real truth and also prosecute them? Councils must not be given new budget allocation until audited reports have been produced and verified, simple…
