Mukhito redeployment ‘just rumours’ -State House

State House press officer Chikondi Juma has corrected a report about State House chief of staff Peter Mukhito  being redeployed to the National Intelligence Service (NIS), saying he remains in office .

Mukhito: Still chief of staff at State House
Mukhito: Still chief of staff at State House

Juma said “it is not true” that Mukhito and Paulos Chisale, security advisor and a valet for President Peter Mutharika have been moved out of State House.

“The truth of the matter is that The State President, His Excellency Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika who is the appointing authority at State Residences has not made that decision and does not intend to make that decision and it is not in his plans to make that decision,” Juma said.

“Mr. Mukhito and Mr. Chisale are still at State House and continue to discharge their duties in their respective positions just as Mr. Nicholas Dausi at the National Intelligence Service (NIS).”

She said the report on the matter are “just rumours with no substance.”

Juma added; “Mukhito and Chisale are among the most dedicated, committed, trusted and royal aides of the President who have stood by the President even in difficult times.”

Of late there have been many “rumours” at State House and Nyasa Times understands that there are “frustrated” individuals within then system peddling lies.

“There is some communication and strategy scheme to discredit President Mutharika within the rank and file,” said a State House official.

Of late there has been changes at State House which has seen Presidential aide-de-camp Lieutenant Colonel Faustino Gunda-Phiri controversially removed from his position and replaced by Lieutenant Colonel Gilfred Chafikana.

Apart from Lieutenant Colonel Gunda-Phiri, others who have been redeployed from State House are former presidential press secretary Frederick Ndala, presidential secretary Hilda Chapola, personal assistant to the First Lady, Philomena Kasambwe, deputy guard commander a Mr. Chikhungu and second deputy guard commander a Mr. Kabambe out of State House.

The President’s guard commander Duncan Mwapasa is also out of State House after being appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Malawi Police Service.

Mr. Bright Malopa, Mr. Chimwemwe Kajao, you both ran away from Prof. Peter in times of thick. There are people who suffered a lot. Do you want us to tell the nation who stole late Bingu’s building materials after his death Mr. Kajao?? Do you want us to tell the nation what happened to the briefcases of dollars you took from state house after the death of Bingu?????

AAAAAAAA! Kodi? This information was leaked by no other than Chisale himself in order to buy sympathy from the President. Chisale, stop fulling Malawians. You and Dausi, your days are numbered. We know your acts.
